Collection

The David Roberts Collection encompasses more than 1500 works acquired in the last ten years by more than 300 British and international artists. Focusing on recent contemporary art, the collection doesn't concentrate on any particular medium, period or area, yet, some artists are collected in depth. Our acquisition's policy is to keep the collection as diverse and dynamic as possible, by acquiring works by International well-known and emerging artists as well as recent graduates.
As the collection's history is important to us, none of the works acquired have been sold so far. The collection's policy is separate from the Foundation's exhibitions, however we also consider it as not only a way to support artists and gallerists, but as a platform to establish dialogues between artists, collectors and curators.
